A success story

The Go Business concept was born out of a survey that was conducted around the student culture in Piteå in 2008. In order to develop entrepreneurship, a desire was expressed for a social physical meeting place, where new entrepreneurs could promote and develop their business ideas with the help and support of each other. Based on this thought, an incubator was started on a trial basis.

Go Business has existed in its current form since 2008, with premises in Acusticum at Piteå Science Park. Since then, the incubator has grown both in terms of size, breadth, content and location. At first, the business was aimed exclusively at new entrepreneurs in the creative and cultural industries. Today, we focus on the entire service sector, but welcome all ideas – both creators and engineers. We have participants of all ages from various industries and Go Business has become a well-known concept in many places throughout the region.

In line with an increased interest in the incubator and its methods, new services have been designed successively. Today, Go Business has offices at Piteå Science Park, in Luleå at the Mobilaris Innovation Center and in Skellefteå at The Great Northern. Go Business completely digital, which means that you as an entrepreneur can get help from us, regardless of where you are in northern Sweden.

Since 2008, over 450 entrepreneurs have taken the chance and run businesses with the support of the Go Business Incubator. Of these, a large number are still active as full- or part-time self-employed.
